Does the *bmp icon file need to have the same name format as the *ov2 file. i.e will the shell.bmp pop up on the screen for a POI in the shellcanada.ov2 file or does the file look for a `shellcanada.bmp` etc etc
yep
will only find shellcanada.bmp for shellcanada.ov2

thot so......also good reason to sort all files by name in a directory to see what you've got b4 uploading!!!

I have not done this for a couple of years, so I may be wrong - but I believe that if my memory is correct, the capitalization also has to be identical.
That is to say that neither shellcanada.bmp nor Shellcanada.bmp will be linked to ShellCanada.ov2.
