Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – June 2016

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

I think I am up to date 2017.20. I looked at a possible route from VA to Kinston, looks as if you would get routed down I785 to US70 around the North of Goldsboro, the old "bypass". According to the trip log from my 3597 the new road intersects with I785 at the NC44 junction, most of it is in open country and does not make use of many existing roads.

From Kenly to Kinston Jetport and Back 5 days a week. The New Goldsboro 70 By-Pass ( Future I-42 ) saves me about 15 min. each way. Not sure if the By-Pass will be in the next update even thoe it's a major road. I would be surprised if the new By-Pass will be in the next update..................

This the new bypass? https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Pittsboro,+NC+27312/Kinston,+NC/@35.4197063,-78.1344202,10.7z/data=!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x89acb97f2695f989:0x7d512c2db0470c33!2m2!1d-79.1772371!2d35.7201463!1m5!1m1!1s0x89a94acfbc92f34b:0xda31721c95b0d994!2m2!1d-77.5816353!2d35.2626635

You're right. It's not shown on the Garmin, yet. Looks like I got routed on US 13/70. It's on Google.
