A good GPS Mount

I just got the new Drive Assist 50. Trouble is, I can't find a good, sturdy mount that will stick to my windshield and not obscure the camera and not be so low that half of the camera's view is obscured by my dashboard. Any ideas?

Solid Mount

I'm using an Arkon mount.
I'm very satisfied with it.

Take A Look At This One:

I use the RAM suction cup mount with a Garmin adapter:

and

The mount arm articulates to give a wide range of viewing positions. It’s a bit pricey but reliable. I’ve been using it for 3 years with no problems.

Grill mount

I'm also quite satisfied with the Akron mount http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-Removable-Swivel-Holder-Garmin/d...

It keeps the GPS out of the windshield and much easier to reach if your air vent happens to be in a good location.

I use the Garmin Beanbag

I use the Garmin Beanbag mount, works pretty good, does not slide around at all.......................

So guys, I just wanted to remind you and point out again that my GPS has a dashcam in it so some of those solutions you all mentioned, while good for other models, won't work for the Drive Assist

Not trying to be smart or anything, but ..
Therein lies the rub for having a cam that needs to look out a windshield, on the back side of a device & screen that needs to be placed so as to not obstruct the view out of said windshield! surprised

.. Can't manage to place it high and behind or next to the rearview mirror? Don't know how big a DA50 is, but my nuvi 295 and 765 fit reasonably good there, just behind the left side of my mirror. Not so much my RV660 though. grin

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.
