I am using the Web Site GPS Visualizer to obtain the coordinates for a physical address. It seems to work well. I would like to convert from a longitude-latitude to the physical address and can't seem to find a freeware program that will give me the street address. If the address included the city and the state that would be an extra. Can anyone help me with this?

Coordinates to physical addresses
That's a tough one, since not that many addresses have been physically linked to coordinates and recorded in any master database. Addresses to coordinates is easier, as they use formulas to approximate coordinates of a given address based on known locations. Best thing to do is put coordinates into a mapping program, google earth, and plot it on a map, then you can approximate an address from information on the map.

You can get an approximation:

An even better source:

You can also do a Google search on "Reverse Geocoding". Good luck.

also has a reverse geocoder function to it. I typed in my coordinates (I built my house only 3 years ago, so it'd be unlikely to be in anyone's system), and it came up with an address about a block away. Not too shabby.
