Where did the phone book go?

I use my Nuvi 2598 sometimes to make a phone call using voice comment. Lately Phone Book and Call History is not highlighted any more and of course I can't use it. . Anybody has an idea what happened?

No but pair the phone again and, if prompted, confirm that you want your phonebook etc. to be used by the Nuvi.

when linked, my old phone's phone book was not accessible by my 3597. The phone book of my current phone does.
Nuvi's do not seem to treat all phone equally.

No, it worked fine up to about two weeks ago. I will pairing it and see what happened.

My brother...
...had a similar issue. I just had him pair his phone with the Nuvi and everything started working fine again. Sometimes, I think the Nuvi just forgets and doesn't quite know what to do.

Is there any chance you are also using one of the optional services such as traffic or weather through Garmin Connect? There is an option on my 3597 to select data only which means the unit only establishes a data connection with the phone if there is an audio connection going to the car.

Yes, I'm using Traffic and Weather but I don't see an option to select the data on my Nuvi. Where do you find this option on your unit? I did a hard reset but that didn't help.
