Enjoyed the owl and eagle. I went to the Sandhill Cranes in Arizona and watched them too. This is so peacful.
The Sandhill Cranes come over our house every year for migration. Nice sight and sound.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting these birds!
Live EagleCam
The live Decorah, Iowa Eagle Cam is back in operation. It went down last year in a storm, before the eaglets had fledged the nest. The Decorah people said they would wait until winter to repair it, so as not to disturb the eagles, and evidently they did get that done:

This is a live view of a nest where at least one egg has been laid but not yet hatched as of this posting. You need Flash to see this, so it will not play on iPhones or iPads.
The link in the original post in the thread is a YouTube video recording.

/heh/
Go see them on the Platte River in Kearney, Nebraska in March. "Peaceful" is not a word I would use when thousands of them launch en masse near sunset, honking, and blacken the sky. It's one of the loudest sustained sounds I've heard in nature. Pretty amazing though.

I posted the original post (OP) here, the link is to the cam at Berry College in Georgia, not the Decorah cam, the youtube video's are video's I took of the Berry cam while it was running live on my computer with my smart phone camera.
