Years ago when players ranked poker starting hands by group 1, 2, etc. I remember Mike Caro writing about a loose agressive New Years eve game that suddenly tightened up after midninght. He thought it was because everybody decided on a fresh start in the new year where they would play correctly. Should be a very good night to play poker - good luck camerabob.
I didn't remember this was New Year's Eve until I started reading this post.
We live on a hill and when the new year fireworks are displayed within several miles we can see it. It's been a couple of years since I work up and looked out the window to see any.
Old aren't I.
Remember that cab fare is way cheaper than an ambulance or a hearse. Celebrate the evening but ensure you have a sober driver if you are going to indulge.
