Old and incorrect POI data from Garmin

Well, I'm having fun with my 340c. I've loaded a bunch of places into the favorites file in anticipation of an upcoming vacation to the East Coast. However, in the course of playing with the unit I've noticed that there are quite a few errors in the pre-loaded POIs, especially in the attractions, food and shopping files. For example, in the amusements/theme parks category the file contains the name and address of a facility that has not been in business for at least five (yep, 5!) years.
How often does Garmin update these files, and is there any way to download the updated files once Garmin releases them?

Report them to NavTeq, Garmin's map info provider.

I will do that. I'll have to make a list first since there seem to be a lot of incorrect POIs for my area.
Garmin 765T...Is it about the destination, or is it about the journey?

I have found a lot of places near me that have been gone 5-10 years.
