As expected and as you've reported, these prices can often be matched or beaten by other vendors and many desirable GPS models are not part of this offer.
The best offers I see in this link are the nümaps lifetime and nümaps Onetime purchases for owners of older devices who really want to keep and use their older device and currently have an old map needing an update; e.g., owners of a nuvi with a mp3 player feature that they don't want to lose if buying a newer nuvi and who have not purchased a map update for their old device.

Compared the Nuvi 2597 and see Best Buy has it for the same price today.On line all day and at store when it opens at 5 PM today.Good price for this GPS with all the features it has.
