Can't go to the link

I am interested in the story, but since the Chicago Tribune is a pay site, I cannot go to the link.

"Primum Non Nocere" 2595LMT Clear Channel and Navteq Traffic

Nope

same problem

the links in the previous posts

Must have been collected at the front door of the Tribune as they seem to want you to pay to read the article.

Try this link

http://www.chicagotribune.com

Copy the link, stuff it into a new instance of a browser of your choice and open the article while it's available.

Otherwise, you'll be asked to (Ahem) cough up some $$$$ to read it, now isn't that a surprise?

Never argue with a pig. It makes you look foolish and it anoys the hell out of the pig!

Whoops!

Sorry, since I'm a subscriber, it works online for me. If I'm not mistaken, after the first couple of days it will be available to everyone, instead of behind a paywall.

There's a companion article,

Tiny Parks, Big Payouts

Who would have thought?

Nice honest city like Chicago not following the "Rules", LOL

Another front page article

Many School-Zone Tickets Lack Signs of Danger to Kids
Finding: City often doesn't meet guideline of no classes, no child, no ticket

Also, the Tribune has an interactive Web database, where you can check to see if you got a ticket from a speed camera at one of the hot spots.

Just Tell

It no, not right now.

That's what I did. Then everything was available for view.

Worked for me when the link wanted me to subscribe.

THAT'S

The Chicago way. cool

Every one of the links shows

Every one of the links shows article briefly, but when I click: "not right now" it removes the article from my view........

I was lucky, never got a RLC Ticket... If I had, you'd bet I'd want to see if I had a refund coming.....

Another comment... Seeing that these tickets can affect your insurance premiums..... If you get a refund, can you approach Insurance Company to resend or refund your premiums?

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love...

There is a reason some Batman films are set there. But I do love our in-law's area on the north shore, aka Breakfast Clubsville. Median income over 200k means nice way to live.

yes

mine said there was a kidnapped woman and then I could pay 99 cents to read it or something. We'll just assume that the article is consistent with the subject of this thread, I'm sure it is.

Sad, but not suprising....

If this was a private company doing this people/companies would be facing charges. Alas, cities and elected officials do whatever they want.

Try google

It is.

If you're still not able to access the articles, try a google search with the titles I provided. You might be able to read them that way.
