What's a good, inexpensive Garmin gps now days?
Note:
I have an Ecoroute device so it has to be compatible with that.

I'm sure you will get recommendations from other members here but you can start your search by knowing what devices are compatible with your EcoRoute device. Here is a list of those units from the Garmin website:

Many of these devices are now discontinued and may no longer be available but a number of the 2xxx and 3xxx models should meet your needs. Note, for any of the devices listed you can click on them in the listing and get full particulars including Garmin list prices.

The biggest disappointment with the newer models is every generation seems to have fewer advanced features and is more dumbed-down. I think that is a shame. Be careful checking for basic features that you liked in your old unit.
