Which ones and where? I've checked out a few in the Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA. Pretty disappointing compared to Texas and Kansas City to say the least!

The ramen in Tukwila (Seattle area) was pretty good though.

Reinforcing an important lesson: GPS nav gives you directions. Most of the time, that GPS nav doesn't know traffic patterns. Google Maps is getting better at that.

Next up is our daughter's college graduation! The following week my son goes up with the big van to help haul her **** back home.

Ran across the state last weekend for the event last weekend. The event raised over $1.1 million and we had a great time. The zumo 665 performed great as usual. We of course had to ride a different route back home.

Knoxville - Chattanooga - Birmingham - Tuscaloosa - Meridian - Jackson - Hattiesburg - Laurel - Meridian - Tuscaloosa - Birmingham - Chattanooga - Knoxville

The GPS failed somewhere in North Alabama. As back up we always have a good availability of paper maps. This proved to be crucial when we had to make some detours.

I am planning a trip south and found that on the way down I can visit the Unclaimed Baggage. For what I know, it is a point of stoppage you can not miss. I am exited to see what I can find there.

Just got back from a long weekend trip from Western NY to NW Ohio for Mother's Day, 850 miles round trip. The new 2689LMT, worked fine. Wasn't really needed for the trip except to keep track of how much longer till we got place, but had the opportunity to see how well the traffic worked.

It's great to find new parks with a portable navigation device along the way of a long trip.

To Niagra Falls, Ont on Saturday returned home today. Used gps to get me to hotel and back out to the QEW, rest just for eta.

This weekend planned trip is to Niagara Falls NY and Canadian side.

Just updated the file for the next work travel.

Earlier this month took the first long trip to Door County Wisconsin, using our new Nuvi 2689

Worked beautiful, and coming from a 660, we're enjoying the new map features!!

Got my new cradle for the Nuvi 50 and took it for a test ride. It is a pleasure looking at a 5" screen. My accessory plug has a fault and the Nuvi ran on the battery for 4 hours. Can't expect much more I guess.
