Garmin StreetPilot Onboard

I know that there has been some discussion in the past about Garmin StreetPilot Onboard, but I want to re-kindle this since I am considering an Apple iPhone and I would buy this app if I bought the iPhone. How well does this work? I currently have Viago on Android. I am reluctant to buy it if it will be going the way of Viago soon, though.

I personally like it

I use it on my iPhone 6 at times. Unlike integration with my phone contacts. Also like that it integrates quite well with music player. Best feature is offline maps. I purchased traffic and that seems to be pretty accurate. Don't know how committed Gsrmin is to the product so I can't address that aspect.
