campground poi limited number showing

Downloaded and installed campgroung poi. it only shows campgrounds about 45 miles from home. am I doing something wrong? is that how it should work? Garmin 2598. any input welcome.

When you view ANY POI file on a Garmin it only shows the closest 50.
If you want to search in a particular location, you can put your GPS into simulation mode (check the FAQs), set your location somewhere else closer then view the POI file again which will show you another set of the "closest 50"

Another method for custom poi search.For another 50
1.Touch Where To.
2.Top Right Searching Near. Touch Searching Near and select different city.
3.Enter the City name and select correct city and state from the list that shows up.
4.Select Custom POIs.
5.Select the camping file and you will get another 50 based on that location.

And remember that you can always search the Custom POIs by typing in the name of what you are looking for.
