Delete a saved place, that wasn't an address

I was playing around and somehow created a saved place.
This wasn't created via address, it was an in-advertand save from a callup from custom POI's browsing...
When I search saved places I see it as a separate entry, not among the Saved addresses....
But, if I try and delete this place, I go into a menu that allows me to delete my custom saves from address save, as well as the errant save from POI browsing...
My question is, since it is saved in two discreet locations that I can display.... Why is it that when I try and delete this errant save, it then shows me everything I've ever saved before, Incuding Delete All (That's danerous!) and scroll through everything until I find the one thing I want to delete, that displayed as a separate entity just 10 seconds ago?

Toch Where To,Saved,touch either All Saved Plcces or the category the saved place is in.Touch the one you want to delete.Touch the i between Routes and Go.Touch 3 horz lines top left.Now delete it. Note same locatin also has option to edit such as changing category,adding new category or the icon.See more info here http://www.poi-factory.com/node/40052
Not sure what you mean by two discreet locations.Unless you mean all and the category.The recent tab shows history.To clear that.Touch Recent,3 horz lines top left then clear.That will remove recent history.

If I select All Saved, That's the list of addresses previously saved.
When I select Saved location, I see the single location I in-inadvertently saved...
But if I try to delete this, I then see ALL SAVED Plus the single file I'm trying to delete---ALONG WITH THE WILDLY DANGEROUS DELETE ALL!
My comments are that if there are two different locations that can display the files... Delete should also be separate for those two lists as well...
A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

When you delete the save.It is removed from both locations. I like the All feature.When traveling I have certain places in my saved based on repeat travel for the area.Helps pair the Cracker Barrel with the hotel off same exit.Same use for custom pois using all.

Yes, what you say is true. My beef was based on having to swim through all the Saved Addresses in order to find the single saved location, that displayed as a single item until I hit delete... and then it displays all and I have to wade through them all to get to the single file that displayed previously....
My complaint is that if I display only one item, and select delete.... I then should not have to wade through ALL Saved in order to delete...
Logic tells me that if you display only one file, and select delete, then you should only have one file to select to delete. (Not 35-40 in my case!)
I believe max saved locations is 1000... Can you imagine.......???

I have the option also for a 1000 saved places.Not sure if I will even come close to that. I do use categories to keep them organized.This link will show by unit the number of favorites or saved places it can maintain. For those interested http://goo.gl/IKZdNV .
I put suggestions in to Garmin in the past.If you want to suggest a change put something in to them http://www8.garmin.com/contactUs/ideas/ .Some input from members may help.
