SD card and POIs.

Hi.
I loaded all POIs on my mini sd card. Removed the file except the current.gpx in the GPX folder and deleted the existing POIs from the GPS. When I insert the card in my 2557 it asked me if I wanted to move the POIs to the internel memory I clicked on no. Now when I check for the POIs in the device it can not find them. What am I doing wrong?

A few of questions ...
1. When you say that you "loaded all POIs on my mini sd card", did you use POI Loader to load them to the card? Or did you copy the Custom POI files directly to the card?
2. When you say that you "removed the file except the current.gpx in the GPX folder", what end result were you trying for with this action?
3. When you say that you "deleted the existing POIs form the GPS", what exact steps did you follow to "delete" them?
4. Did you do all this "deleting" before or after you "loaded" the POIs to the card?
5. Where are you looking on the device for the Custom POIs? Are you looking in the Custom POIs section?

You did not have to delete anything in the GPX folder
I assume you used a file manager program to remove the old POI. You could have used POI Loader to remove them which in this case would have been the better choice.
POI would be under Categories on the newer units. Saved items were probably in one of the files you removed from the GPX folder.
