Garmin Voice Studio

some reports of users recording their own voice for directionless. If I remember correctly it won't allow spoken street names.

Voice Studio lets you create custom voices for your nüvi. With just a microphone (recommended) and your computer, you can record and upload custom voices to your device. Forgot that Garmin had put this out. Am going to try with some of my own phrases - i.e. 'Are you paying attention now?' for 'recalculating'.

I like the feature but I don't want to record my own voice. It'll confuse me, I won't know if I'm talking to myself or the Garmin talking.
