Thanks.

Wav updates

They are in the process of adding wav files to the the custom pois.As a result the files in your My Favorites Files tab are showing as needing a update. If a wav was added.

Note. For any new members that may not know this.Listed under your name on top right. The My Favorites Tab will list any file you have downloaded. If it shows a note in red.It is time to update that file.Except now it may or may not apply.

Thanks!

charlesd45 - thanks for explaining what triggered several of the updates. Noticed that the text description in many of the POI write ups had the old date. Did not realize the WAV file update would trigger the update flag. Did not download the update since there was no change in POI data file, just WAV file I don't use.

Now I know why my Rest Areas Combined showed a new update when the version is still the stinky (ver. BO) one I already have.

My Favorite Files

I made an adjustment to the My Favorite Files page to fix this issue.

The "new" indicator now looks at the date the *poi file* was last updated rather than the date that anything on the page was last changed.

This should make it easier to spot files you might need to download again.

Jonathan - thanks for the change. This will make the "new" indicator more reliable regarding actual data changes smile We rely on the "new" indicator almost exclusively for our updates!
