I know that this has been discussed in the past, but I haven't seen much of anything posted on this lately. Some time back, both Google Maps AND Mapquest Maps has the option of sending results to a Garmin GPS. I do seem to recall seeing that Google to Garmin is no longer an option. Does anybody here know what happened?
It looks like Mapquest does still allow this option. Granted, it is not something that I have done much lately, but it still seemed like it was a nice feature.
Also, does anybody here know if any other online websites allow this? I really enjoyed legacy MSN Maps & Directions back in the day, but I don't think they ever had that option either.
I did see that Wiki has an interesting comparison of web map services. There is an area listed as GPS Integration, but I will have to do some more research to see how up to date this is.

Who knows why Google does what it does? My guess is that they see Garmin navigators as competition with their own product (navigation app on Nexus tablet using Google maps). One thing for sure, Google corporate strategy is aggressive, sometimes even predatory (IMO of course).
