New user help. (sister recently got a nuvi)

I didn't see where you told her to come where you ask for ideas.

There is a wealth of information contained in the FAQs and under the Learn tab. JGermann has put together some excellent tutorials that take a newbie through the steps needed to not only do basic operations, but teach the basics of loading custom POI.

Hard to solve a problem that doesn't seem to exist. What, if any thing, is your sister having trouble with?

just a lack of confidence. I spent an hour with her going over settings, simulation mode, Searching for POI, simple routing. I think I was looking for some exercises she could do that were fun so she would do them a lot before she needed to use the Nuvi for real on a big trip that is coming up soon.

This unit does not do routes, so it's pretty simple.

She can use it around town. Set a destination for the grocery store, bar, gym, wherever. and GO.
