In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Christmas

gearing up for a 2k mile trip in December. It is wonderful having so much information available, so easily to plan my trip. Gas prices, locations, food locations. I plan my routes with stops every 2 hours and once planned, it is nice to be able to simply follow my GPS routing knowing in advance all the roads and stops, trip information in real time.

Visiting our daughter--

Calgary

Flew to Calgary, rented a car and used my Nuvi 855 to find all my destinations. Worked like a charm.

Arcata and return--

Drove to Arcata to pick up our daughter from college; drove back in the rain.

"Drive south 283 miles" coming from the Nuvi (or something close to that) when we left her place -- a long drive down US 101!

Going up early this morning, the estimated arrival time at her door just after I started, and my actual arrival time were pretty close. Coming home was another story, due to the rains and very slow traffic.

But we made it!
