Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – November 2014

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Went to Fargo, ND and was unable to find a patio furniture store/garden center that was on the 2014.30 maps and wasn't on the 2015.20 map...

And it still thinks Costco is still accessible via a dead end road, unbuilt road!

took a trip

using the new 2015.30 map it still led me to a dead end road the town has been going to fix now for a couple of years its a dirt road and a culvert overflowed. there is a blacktop road it takes about 2 min longer but the dirt road has nicer viewing trees and stuff I guess Garmin cant account for every backwater short cut into some of these smaller towns lol .

Um...

Must be lots of folks preparing for Thanksgiving - seemed to be fewer cars on the road during the commute.

Happy Thanksgiving ......

I don't sing and I don't dance -- I'm in the booth!

No shopping on Friday, and if I'm lucky, no driving at all on Thanksgiving!

Boston local -> Providence RI

No issues with the new map and happy to report that the unit flawlessly warned me of two Red Light Cams in Providence. Also, I know it's never mentioned anywhere in release notes, etc., but the screen graphics just seems better/sharper/improved after the last couple of map updates. One thing that is definite is there are many more side streets showing now once you are zoomed in enough. I clearly remember the map previously showing cross-street names on only one side as I travelled along.
