Hello,
I am new. Just got a Nuvi 660.
Here is a question.
If I create a bunch of custom POI's (for example, restaurants), if I do a restaurant search, will my GPS list both pre-loaded restaurant POI data and my custom POI data? Or does the GPS only list the preloaded POI?

You can go into "Where To", "Extras", "Custom POIs" and select the destination that way.
It is not a sign of weakness to need other people; it is a sign of strength to have them!

The general search will only find built in POIs. You need to do a separate search under Custom POIs. However, generally your Custom POIs will be setup in categories (folders on your PC for general breakdowns and then the specific POI folders), so a search is not necessary for the Custom POIs, just select the category and POI file and your will see the 50 closest to your location.
