adding addresses via linked smartphone?

Hello All,
So I have a Garmion Nüvi® 3597LMTHD. And I have it linked to my Android with no issues; however I had a feature thought.... So while I had them both linked together I wanted to add an address that was in my phone.
Yes I can see the phone number on the Nuvi and yes I can dial it through the GPS but I couldn't see a way to add the contacts address to my Garmin. Am I missing something? I thought it would be nice to be able to add the address once the two are connected instead of me having to type it in....
Any thoughts?
May be a Compatibility Issue

“Your phone book is loaded from your phone to the device each time your phone and the device connect. It may take a few minutes for the phone book to be available. Some phones do not support this feature.”
The phone book transfers from my Iphone 5 to my 3597 with no problem. It is possible your phone may not be compatible with this feature.

The downloaded phone book may be just names and phone numbers. Not everyone has an email address book type entry. My phone is linked to my email so I get all the data in my email address book but the Nuvi may not load all that info.

smartlink app
with just the connected phone and nothing else, I see only names and phone numbers. However when I use the smartlink app by Garmin, I see that I can send the contact address to the Nuvi. So I see there's a way.
Just would be nice to be able to send those contact addresses to the Nuvi hands free while driving. I don't want to have to sit there doing it while i could do it via voice command
