In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Heading to Virginia
Planning to visit our son in Virginia next week. Our trusty Garmin 2555LMT will be on board. Just updated to the new maps and traffic camera files. Thanks POI Factory for the traffic camera and rest stop files. They worked great for us on our last trip in Florida. Have a safe week everyone.

Spent a week in Londo with our grandaughter. Since I used a prepurchased London pass which gave me unlimited travel on the tube and bus in the first 6 zones I used my Garmin to find which direction we had to walk when leaving the tube or bus. Had a great time.

Traveled to the DC area this and back. As always, traffic was very heavy. Other than the traffic, no issues.
Birmingham, AL for Antiques Roadshow
We drove to Birmingham to attend Antiques Roadshow at the Birmingham-Jefferson County Convention Center. Loads of fun - except I think I was older than most of the stuff folks brought to have appraised! LOL! The Antiques Roadshow staff were well-trained and very helpful. Great experience!
Birmingham has done some serious work on US Highway 280 since we were last there. Traffic moved quickly and easily into and out of downtown. No reports of accidents, slow-downs, or impediments on our routes. Traffic icon stayed green the whole time.

Field Day!
My next trip -- pick up my son at the airport, return home to pack up our gear, and head to our Field Day site -- the last weekend in June is Amateur Radio's Field Day contest. We'll be meeting up with my best friend from middle school for our annual weekend gathering.
And GPS gets used, a lot -- not only getting there, but once there, knowing our location so we know which way to point our directional antennas to talk to folks in different parts of the planet, and also for accurate time.

Tried Sygic, I thought that my Garmin was much easier to use, the whole app had fiddly controls or buttons. After saying that it worked very well, it just wasn't user friendly.
