Garmin Nuvi 50lm: No "Go" Button to get to my custom POIs...

|
Brand new to pre-loading POIs onto a GPS. Took me hours to figure out the HOW.
I have Custom POIs loaded under my Extras and can see them and they are accessible. When I select one, I don't the "Go" button that starts the navigation process. What am I missing? This has been hours of work setting waypoints for a 16 day motorcycle trip from SC to WY and back and I am running out of patience.
Please help. And please, don't lecture me if this has been covered somewhere else. I used the search bar, typed in "go button Nuvi Custom POI and got nothing." I used 10-15 different configurations of search terms and couldn't find an answer.
It takes more tim ego write this out than it does to search, right?
Not
Not sure if the 50 has a different interface than other models of the same vintage but it should be:
Where To - Extras - Custom POIs - pick the one you what.
The GO button should be in the lower right corner of the map screen that should appear showing the location of the POI you selected.

The Button just isn't there...
t923347: It should be there, but it isn't...I found a post that talked about having a number in the file name as causing problems. When they say "file name" in POI-speak, it that filename of the file you UPLOAD or the actual POI titles? Example: My trip begins on May 31st so the file is "2014-05-31..." and my POIs are titled "01a-XXXXX" to reflect the day of the trip and the order of waypoints.
Any idea if this number concern applies to the Nuvi 50lm? (I discovered the thread in a search of the words "go button" (in quotes)...
Yo Mama!! Awesome...that was it...
OK...the file converter from KML to GPX was tacking a number pattern to the file. I removed an everything worked!!!
Motorcycle Mama pegged my suspicions. I;m a truly new user to the site so I appreciate you guys and your efforts to knock the walls down for me!!
All hail the open road!

If the filename of the POI file you are loading into the nuvi contains a number, it will create an unwanted speed alert. To avoid this, never include any number in the filename. Source - POI Loader Help.

Some files from here have numbers in them. You need to rename them.
