The same happened to me at a Nissan dealership
Took the minivan in to a Toyota dealer for a "free" recall of spare tire cable. They did a "free" 24 point inspection. Came up with a list of suggested urgent repairs totaling $3500.
I thanked them for the free service and left.
How can they say that the oil pan and the valve covers and the tranny pan are leaking when there are no stains on my driveway, and I never have to add oil or tranny fluids between oil changes?
I hate auto dealerships.
and I also didn't bite. Now when I get a coupon through the mail for an oil & filter change for 14.99$ with a free 24 multipoint inspection I tell them to save their time and to forget the inspection part.
I must being doing something right as my Murano runs A-1 and has over 280,000 km (175,000 miles)

Where is Spring?

Summer is here
Mid Florida now getting temps as high as 90. Seems we had a short spring and sprung directly to summer. Still beats the blizzards we avoided a few months ago.

Spring cleaning. I hate spring cleaning. I guess it's okay if some one else does it, but when I gotta do it... I hate spring cleaning!

Temperature Change
We went from hot weather last week in Las Vegas to freezing at night now that we are in the Utah mountains. We should have stopped at the halfway point near Mesquite...
