Are you using Garmin Digital traffic( Smartphone Link app) in Canada?

I'm curious to know as well since Google Maps show traffic conditions and there's also Waze which is supposed to be similar.

Thanks for your update. Actually, Google is using Waze updates on Google maps. The problem is when you are navigating on Google maps, then you don't get traffic flow info.
Naveteq traffic web site www.here.com/traffic is supposed to be mirror of what you get on your Garmin device but lately I have seen some differences. there are some side streets in Toronto which show traffic flow info on web site but not on my Nuvi.

But I would like to see possibly this week if I can get it working for my needs. Good luck to all.

No response from anyone in Canada means no one is using it in Canada then.

most use the tmac traffic as smartphone requires data and therefore the garmin provides non digital traffic.
Also not all GPS has the smartlink except for the few newer models.
I have the smartlink app but not the digital traffic for Toronto.

I am using Smartphone Link app with traffic subscription. It is lot better than FM traffic. Highway coverage is pretty good and it covers some major streets like Black Creek drive, Sheppard Ave, Allen, hwy 27 etc. for traffic flow. This live traffic does use data on your phone but very minimum.
