Try it again and write down the messages that you get.

I have found the portable, freeware package Faststone Capture enormously valuable. Since it is portable, it does not do an install. When you run it, you have the option of having it run at startup - which I do.

I suppose I do a "screen capture" 5 to 10 time a day - saving the output to folders in a top folder called MyPrtScrns. I use jpgs.

Then whenever I need to document errors I press "Print Screen" and save the error message for later use.

definitely help if we knew which file you experienced an issue with. I use the GPX version and had no issues with the latest update. POI-Factory reports no issues or unusable records in the CSV.

It is the GPX version and I have a screenshot of the error but don't know how to attach the image to this message. Basically it says that the file is invalid. All other POIs load Ok.

Load the GPX file in EPE.

Edit > Replace Field > arrow to Proximity > Replace All

Edit > Replace Field > arrow to Symbol > Replace All

Edit > Replace Field > arrow to Display > Replace All

File Save

I understand the Proximity because the field has 0 in it. Do not understand display and symbol, but the replaces get rid of those fields in the output file

It worked. Followed your instructions and the file uploaded without problem.
What still don't understand is how come some people had no issues with the file?
