Deleting Favorites in Nuvi 2350 LMT

I am having a problem deleting some favorites on my nuvi 2350 lmt. I had to install a mini sd chip for additional storage on a map update. Before I installed the SD chip, I could delete the favorites I requested. Now with the SD chip installed It will not delete any favorites as requested. Any help? It seems it retains them on SD storage device.
GPX Files
Are there any GPX files on the SD card? I believe any GPX file is loaded into the Favorites on boot. That is the method for moving Favorites from one device to another.
