converting addresses to POI

I am a traveling service technician and have over 250 sites I am responsible for. I have all of the addresses in an Excel document. Is there any easy way to either directly upload these addresses or to get their lat/lon to create a POI .csv? If I have to enter each one into Google Earth to get the lat/lon then I should just enter then directly into the GPS. Thanks.

Have a look at http://gpsvisualizer.com/convert?form=address.

There's a section that lets you add coordinates to an uploaded file. I haven't used it myself, but it looks like it's supposed to add the lat/lon to everything in a file.

converting addresses to POI

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much! I had to start out with my excel database and rearrange the columns into the correct format then paste it into the converter. I then choose to export a comma separated file and saved that back into excel. The exported file has the lat and long reversed for the POI loader so you have to switch them and remove the first column which, for me, had a "W" in it (western hemisphere?). My database had separate columns for address, city, state, zip, etc. I used a concatenate function to combine the cells. Now when I call up the location on my GPS it gives the site name, full address and phone number.

Thank you

JM,

Thanks. I was hoping there was an easy way to do this and glad to read that there is.
