Not sure if I believe in Global Warming 100%, but our Fall has been very mild. Tomorrow will be in the 80's. Normally the day after Labor Day, it is like turning a light switch and it is cold. Now if this weather would just continue through February????

Taking a new "adventure" trip for us next week !

Friends picking us up at the door and we're taking Amtrak up to Virginia to visit some friends staying in Alexandria, VA.
Going to take (darn, haven't named my new 2595 yet) GPS to make sure the train gets there OK ,
On at 3 PM in the afternoon (20 miles from home) and arrive at 7 AM in the morning to be picked up by our friends who happen to be staying at a Timeshare 1/2 mile from the train station !

Well, it's time to get your flu shot. Hopefully it will help fight the flu, or at least the severity of it. Gotta take care of the body, ya know.

Had the flu about 25 years ago - haven't had it since and neither have I had a flu shot in that time !

Annual Flu Shot...certainly not a "no Brainer!"
... having worked professionally in health services, I would haphazardly get one over the past 30+ yrs. Had never though much of it until last year when I came to regret it. Too long and idiosyncratic a story to elaborate, simply to say that these "annual flu shots" are hardly a "no brainer" ... particularly (and ironically) the older you get.
