Anyway around the Favorite limit ?

I have a 255w and was wondering if there is a way around or to modify the limit of favs you can add.
Mine is at 999.

Can't be altered AFAIK. Best and only way to add new favorites would be to delete some old ones.

Just commented in another Thread initiated by you. I am of the opinion that the 200 series can have only 500 Favorites.
How are you counting your favorites?

a custom POI file is the way to go.
A custom POI file is the way to go. More than 999 favorites is quite a lot, you likely will be better off creating a custom POI. Or even multiple POIs, assuming that not all of those favorites are for the same type of thing.

t923347 caught me, the 205 series at 1000 is different from the 200 series at 500. My bad.
Favorite POI
I use EPE to read in my favorites, then output a POI file. This way I can see all of my nearby custom POI's AND favorites at the same time.
Then delete the favorites you don't use often.
