Every map update I've downloaded since 2011 has failed to unlock in both Mapsource and Basecamp on my W7 Ultimate desktop. A call to Garmin tech support was required each time to do a manual unlock. None of the tech people were able to offer a solution. Anyone else out there have this problem?

I can't wait to get thru this exciting period of "waiting for the next map update" to progress.
Sorry I couldn't help myself.
But, I do appreciate the info and really enjoy the update experience whenever it occurs.
Don't get me wrong, this is the best site on the internet for information, and of course fun.

I'm wondering the same thing. If they've posted it, why would they delay the release unless there's something else we're missing?

Can't be too different from 2014.10. About to buy that one. Don't know if I want to wait another month or so. Hopefully works on my Nuvi 760

I just updated to 2014.1 and will wait for a while after the next version becomes available.

I seemed to have lost my bottle opener! it was sitting on a full case of beer now the case is empty and the bottle opppeener ish losted

I was not a fan of the last update - maybe this will fix some of the known issues

Ie - having to wait 10+ seconds for the screen to update when you have to type in a address In the nuvi 2595.

Exactly. Two questions. When can we get the update and when (and where) the large JCV file.

BUT a lot of pages keeps the thread near the top of the forum. Lets people know the update is either available or will be available in the near future.

An alternative would be to have a sticky, maybe read only, which had the information.

No it does not include the European version, only North America.
I can't ever recall a time where borh North America & Europe were released at the same time. That would really but a burden on Garmin's servers.

I use the link below to get an estimate on when the next North America map will be released. The thread also shows prior maps and what date they were released.

Although I don't update every new map because there usually aren't that many significant changes. Will load this one though.
