Garmin 2757

I recently purchased a 2757. The power cable that came with it doesn't have the traffic antenna built into it. I substituted a GM35 from my other GPS. The 2757 says it's not compatible with it. I'm in Toronto is thier any cable that I can use to give me traffic alerts?

The GTM 36 and the GTM 60 are both listed on the Garmin site as compatible with the 2757. No sense buying the GTM 60 if you live in Toronto as there is currently no HD Traffic in Canada, which is what the 60 is needed for.

I was under the impression that the GTM 35 and 36 were pretty much the same thing but if your 35 isn't compatible and the 36 is then I guess I was wrong again. surprised

You may find it less expensive to buy a 2797LMT, which lists for only $50 more than the 2757LM, than it would be to buy just the traffic receiver. That is, if you can return and exchange the devices. The upgrade will also get you Voice Recognition and Bluetooth support.
