Depends what your looking for. They are pretty much the same, including price, with the 3597 having HD traffic which is only better if you'll be using the GPS in areas that provide HD traffic updates. It also has Garmin Real Directions with Garmin Real Voice that the 3590 doesn't. The 3590 has a pedestrian mode that the 3597 doesn't.
3590LMT and I love it. It has never given me any problems. It is up to date with the map and FW. I will use it on a trip this Thursday. I would not leave without it.
