Correct GTM cable

I have a nuvi 1390 and a 1450. Along with these are connecting cables GTM 25 and GTM 26. Does it matter which one I connect to either nuvi? I do not recall what came with what. Are they interchangeable? Thanks

It doesn't matter. Units that are not compatible with traffic receivers will simply use the receiver as a power cable, bypassing the traffic ability.

As far as traffic subscriptions go, the subscription(s) available are stored on the traffic receiver, not the GPS unit.

You can mix/match all you want.

Another bit of information. According to the questions and answers forum at gpscity.com, the GTM35 can replace either the GTM25 or 26. I don't know if that's a fact though.
