Garmin's New RV 760LMT navigator for the RV lifestyle

Interesting device but why would they recycle a model number from a device that's been discontinued for years (Nuvi 760). I know they are completely different devices which is just another reason to give it some other model number IMO.

My guess is that it a repurposed Dezl 760LMT.

I got mine in the first shipment around Dec 2012. It is not only the best RV GPS I have used, it is the best for auto also. I move it from RV to auto, and the NUVI just sits bor backup.

Are you talking about the same unit? The RV 760LMT? AFAIK, the unit has just been announced and won't be available for 2-3 weeks according to the Garmin site:

The Dezl 760LMT and the RV 760LMT do appear to be the same unit but the Dezl 760LMT has a trucking database while the RV 760LMT has an RV database.

You are correct. I have the dezl 760. If the RV 760 is an update for the dezl 760 to use with RVs, it should be awesome indeed.

It looks like Garmin is competing in the RV market.

Don't like my 3590LMT's traffic anyways. Do lots of Rving, gonna have to wait for the survey on this one.
