I recently purchased a new VW that came with a in-dash GPS/RADIO system. The system is a the RNS315. Map upgrades are done thru the use of a SD card.
My question is does anyone know a way to get custom POIs, routes, voices and other content on to this system? I have been looking around the net and can't seem to find much.
I would prefer to not have to continue to use my Garmin with a system built in to the vehicle.

Searching and not finding is a good clue that none exist... the OEM in-dash systems are notorious for being closed systems... you're stuck with OEM sourced updates, typicaly at high cost.

Checkout http://poinspect0r.blogspot.com/ I use that for my RNS510. IT's about $18 or $19 but was one of the best purchases I made.
