Ft Worth

getting ready for a trip from houston to ft worth. Since I use state highways instead of interstates, GPS is very helpful. Also like stopping at small town diners.

3 Ladies in Cleveland -

Well, God Bless the 3 young women rescued in Cleveland, OH. I'm glad they are free to resume their lives. Hopefully, they can put this behind them - in time - and begin some semblance of a normal life. I will pray for them and their loved ones.

Weather a bit cooler and the wind has died down. It helps the fire fighters in their bid to control the fires in the area. Hopefully they will get them under control with little and/or no injuries, loss of homes, or lives. A prayer for them too.

The rest of you, have a great rest of the week and, please, take care of each other.

Is It Really May?

Warm (And Hot) Weather

The weather is nice here in Las Vegas, with the temperature in the low to mid 80s. If you want hot weather, it was 102 last week in Mohave National Preserve.

Went to the sunny Caribbean, first time on a cruise ship, (Unless you call a Aircraft Carrier a cruise ship) loved it. going to go again.

Did several Carib cruises on a tin can in the 50's !

Can honestly say the 7 cruises we've taken in the past 9 years were a lot more enjoyable but "somewhat" more expensive than the ones the Navy provided 50 + years ago !
