How old is your street view

Why guess? In the lower left part of the street view there's the year and month when the image was taken...

My street was on streetview in the past, but now it's removed entirely.

Mine is at least 5 to 6 years old. I can see how my yard "used" to look;)

I know exactly how old my street view is because I was out mowing the day the Google camera car drove down my street on May 14, 2012. The day it happened, I made note of it in the chit chat thread of this forum. I have been checking weekly to see when the street view would show up on Google maps, and they appeared just this week. So for my street, it took Google ~ 14 months after recording the street view to publish it.

I would say about 2007

The dating feature of my street view is I'm in it along with my wife. The Googlemobile came by in July of 2012. The new view came on about a year later.

Mine is about 4-5 years old

Mine is at least 3 years old.

My house has been resided and the picture shows the old color.

The image date on mine is May 2012. I always see a Google streetview car parked at a house in my neighbourhood. I'm always tempted to knock on their door just to ask them how they like it and how often they are mapping the roads in my city.

..about 1 month ago. On trash day while I was putting my dogs in the truck. Wonder how long it will take to see it on Google Street?

I didn't realize the image was dated. Where can I see the date. Thanks.

2010...that's the year we added a new garage..

About ten days ago I saw the Google car driving through our neighborhood a few times. I had just changed some landscaping in front so it will be interesting to see how long the new data takes to be on-line.

The bottom left corner should say

"Image Date: Month Year"

or there abouts, I think.

I saw my house on Street View today. Trash day. ARGH

Several years ago I checked & found my 2002 BMW Z3 purchased in 2011 parked in the driveway. I hardly ever park it there. Best gues - 5 years prior.

look at the very bottom of Street View for the date (month year) of the picture.

I saw the new green branches of a tree I planted last fall.

It was one of the alternating Mondays. Trash pick up day. And recycling pick up day.

The image date shows up in the bottom left corner. I know the Google car passed by a few weeks (months) ago, but the new picture isn't on the website yet.

Since I posted the above, they've updated the Street View shot of our house to a 2012 view. It's already out of date, though, as we redid our driveway a month ago with a different material than shown in the photo. (Too bad... we're about to put our house on the market, and it looks better now than it did in that shot. I'm told many people screen houses by coming to Street View to check out the neighborhood.)

is my guess for my property - give or take a couple of years. It is certainly before 2010.
