Be certain you get the full manual and not the quick start guide. It will have the step by step directions for your particular model. There are differences between models, so without knowing which model you have, it would be difficult to give you a step-by-step instruction

The manual didn't help, but I fiddled with the GPS itself and figured it out.

Favorites or POIs
I need to know how to delete individual favorites, and also how to edit some that have changed.
Because of the "edit" comment, I want to make sure that you are talking about Favorites and not POIs that you might have loaded using POI LOader. If you are not familiar with POI Loader, then Favorites it is.
You have already been given a link to your manual so you will not need part of this FAQ I am going to advise you to visit since you are new to this site. Fixing the settings on your computer will help us help you later.

Once you look at and follow this FAQ, then you are strongly advised to do the FAQ on backing up your computer at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/30394 - BEFORE you start doing too many things on your 50.
On page 11 of your manual are the instructions on editing Favorites.
You can change the
Name
Phone Number
Map Symbol
and you can add a category.
If you want to adjust the location of a Favorite, then come back to us and we will help.
Be sure to fix your computer settings and make a backup.
