Garmin Express Clean-up

I tried GE for my 2300. It did not work. I used MapUpdater on a different computer as recommended by Garmin CS. Worked. The gps is updated but GE does not recognize this. How do I remove the "Updates are available" message from GE?

Wait for a new version.

I have to ask, if GE doesn't work then why do you care if it shows an update is available? Just wait for a new version.

other things

It works for my other units and for other updates just not a map update.

You

You still have the option to use MapUpdater for the map updates and Webupdater for all other updates on all your units, so IMO you can just uninstall GE until such time as Garmin gets the software to work properly on any unit.

.

I use GE on my 2595

Updated

I run windows 8 and finally received the notification to update from lifetime updater to Garmin Express. I updated and after the update it initially told me that I had updates that were already performed. What worked for me to clear them was to close the program and unplug the my 3490 unit - I then re-launched the program and plugged my device back in and GE noticed that the updates it initially informed me on were cleared after the re-synch.
