This applies to all nuvi 24x0 models.

Changes made from version 3.20 to 3.30:

◦Fixed an error that caused some address searches to fail.

◦Fixed an error that prevented Trip Planner from adding stops.

◦Fixed an error that caused myTrends to re-enable after a power cycle.

◦Fixed minor errors with map drawing.

◦Improved software stability.

Thanks for advising, update for my 2460 went fine.
For sure I double checked that I had a backup of the gupdate.gcd file before the download.
Garmin's recent track record for upgrades certainly needs improvement.

I'll give it a try this weekend...

My biggest complaint is their Bluetooth-linked car monitor (can't remember the product right now) keeps forgetting where it is, either needing to be re-connected entirely, or letting me know "A new vehicle has been detected!" and making me enter the same data over again, when it's the same car I parked a while ago.

That's

That's an ecoRoutesHD device. I've had one attached for at least a year now and have not needed to reset it at all. You may have a bad connection or faulty device.
