In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.) Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Went last night to celebrate daughters birthday at Chinese buffet place about 45 minutes away
Made a short trip on I95 to Baltimore and back over the weekend. might to medium traffic, no issues. Google nav worked fine.
Happy President Day
Colorado, before the ski season is over.
Limited snow this year but still great compared to the East.
only used Nuvi 2555 in demo mode, to confirm icons are 24x24 pixels
I hope the snow melts by next week
via back roads...
before trip to Nashville and then on to Knoxville to see our newest grandson!
Just hit the usual spots this week. Keeping the expenses down and dodging winter weather. Ready for spring
It was a nice sunny day yesterday. It was good to get out for a while and wash the salt off the old truck.
Took the wife to her book reading club.
Used my nuvi 760 to find several small wineries I had long wanted to visit on the Silverado Trail. Beautiful time of year.
I hope the snow has melted
I've been working local the last week, to and from downtown Pittsburgh. Using the GPS for traffic though there aren't too many detours to use.
Still using my old 680 for my daily commute to work. Been some time since my last visit!
visitied some friend in north new jersey
Flew out to the left coast and used the trusty Nuvi in the rental car. Always feels good to just put in an address and blast off with reasonable assurance that you will get to your destination in an unknown area.
East Tennessee to West Virginia to visit my mother. Lots of VA state troopers on the 81.
several thirft stores outside my normal home range
Out for my annual ski holiday. Not asmuch snow aspast years, but better than the East.
I forget frm year to year how good it is.
Just driving in the AZ sun.
Went to a high school basketball game earlier. Looks like a trip to state may be in the works.
From Daytona Beach - and no, I wasn't there for the dogs (and cat) chasing their tails.
I needed a part so my faithful 1998 Civic could pass it's annual inspection. I followed the route the nuvi took me in instead of the one I knew. I was pleasantly surprised. Got me there, and I discovered a lovely place to grab breakfast on the way over!
I love that we can go to junkyards to find parts. My civic is a 97. I named her Lois. I've only had her for a little over 3 years but I've learned so much about these cars and all the things I can fix myself. I'm going to be pretty bummed when she retires. Fortunately she only has about 130,000 miles on her so I still have time.
Just bought a nuvi 3490lmt for <$250. Looking forward to trying it out on my trip to Atlanta. They added the 3d digital traffic to this and I am curious how well it will perform. I should receive it on 3/1
...to flip the calendar again!
Just checkin in. Giving the blades a spin,
Lady lake Florida
Mine is just under 260,000! Original transmission and engine. New head gasket though.
out of the Keys ... weather has been beautiful vfor the past two months
No 1960 Internationals in the wrecking yards. Luckily bought a t-boned truck a few years ago. I have an extra starter, generator, distributor, radiator, hub caps, grille and a heater. So far only 166,660 miles.
