Didn't realize that. I have been on sites where you have the option of downloading the podcast of a show or an mp3 of that same show (for instance Car Talk on NPR), so I assumed podcasts were specifically formatted for an iPod.

Jon has a copy of it, I will

Jon has a copy of it, I will see if he can get it up on the site somehow.
That article also made its way into the Denver Post:) Some of our new members found us that way.

Miss Poi

great news!

congrats on your achievements!

I just talked to Jon about

I just talked to Jon about this and he told me that the mp3 copy that he has needs to be edited and at this point we don't personally have the software to do that. Is there anyone interested in editing the program to remove the commercials and break it up into smaller chunks so that it doesn't take up to much space here on the site?

Miss Poi

Unfortunately I lack the

Unfortunately I lack the time to do this myself, but there is excellent freeware audio editing software called Audacity that will accomplish this with ease. If someone's looking to earn brownie points, now's your chance! smile

I do have the program Audacity

But it's at home, and I'm in a motel for another week.

Allk the best things in life can be free...

Audacity is free to download and use.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

You may need the 'lame.dll' file for it to convert audio files correctly but this can be downloaded anywhere on the net - just do a Google search. It is a tiny file.

Audacity is probably one of the easiest, most powerful, little audio program around.

Enjoy.

Just listened to the

Just listened to the interview in its entirety and I feel Jon handled himself commendably! I did notice it was hard to get a word in edgewise at times but Jon managed very well. Maybe next time we can get Maryann's perspective too...

Great job!
