Rewarding

Several years ago there was a rewards program in the Miami area. When you were cited for speeding, and the officer checked that you were buckled up, you were given 2 tickets to a NBA Heat game.

Rewarding in Ohio

25+ years ago my dad was stopped in Ohio. He had no idea why, but when the Trooper came up to the window he checked that everyone in the car had a seat belt on and thanked my dad for driving safely and handed him money. To long ago to remember how much but was an interesting way to do spot checks without getting the drivers to upset.

Come to Tucson during Rodeo Week (Febuary)

Cops will pull a Tourist car over, arrest them for the Rodeo Lynching. They lynch a Couple every year, if they survive the lynching they get free tickets to the Rodeo and a bunch of other free stuff

I was given the invitation to donate to the local constabulary. It wasn't voluntary....and it wasn't cheap.
