Our local Walmart sponsored a parade through their store. Associates were passing out candy and prizes.

I'm excited to be going on a trip to the west coast tomorrow.
Sandy was a catastrophic event
Storms are not good on good weather, but at this time is awful.
Dodged the Sandy bullit by sheer luck
We just returned from 5 weeks in New England, inc Salem, MA and then Philadelphia in our motorhome.
As soon as we got back, Sandy was all over the news. Whew!!!!! Thought about staying longer, but just got lucky that we did not.
Woulda had to put sails on the RV or wings. :>) Glad to be got back to St. Louis and home sweet home.

Add to that the telephone is ringing 10 times a day with recordings from all the different politicians. I just don't know why they excluded themselves from the Do Not Call law. They are obviously selling something, just nothing we want to hear.
