Hope everyone is safe up north.
Have a great week.
Stay safe and dry.
Hope you all in the NE stay safe and that there is a quick Change in the weather so you can start digging out of the damage.
Hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween.
Well Monday is over ..... FINALLY
end of october
Big one hit us...sort of.
Have a good night everyone
Where is this year going. Hope everyone on the East Coast is OK.
has It's advantages. I feel for the East Coast residents, though. My sister in PA is huddled up in her closet with her cat.
hope tuesday is a better day
Keep Safe Everyone!
Happy Halloween & have a great week!
I sure hope those of you up on the north end of our eastern coast are hanging on ok. I've seen plenty of hurricanes down here on the S.TX coast, but we know how to prepare here and our infrastructure is built a little differently to handle it.
Too much happening.
#72. Well, we survived the uber-super-maga Frankenstorm. I hope everybody will fair as well.
The media will harp on the devastation caused by hurricane Sandy. It will be interesting to see how Sandy's damage compares to hurricane Katrina, which hit us a few years ago. Katrina made the area look like a major bomb was ignited. For miles, property and trees were flattened.
hope all you folks on the east coast get by with the lease amount of damage.
Man I'm late.
That's the way it is here in SW Ohio, thanks to Sandy. But, I will take this anytime over what NYC and NJ is experiencing right now. I feel sorry for those folks. It will take a long time to get everything back to the way it was before the storm hit. I was in San Juan back in March and took pictures of the Bounty. I was sorry to hear of it's demise yesterday.
Haloween should be fun!
Wow! What a scary day yesterday was for a lot of folks.
That Sandy is a big storm.
Halloween should be especially scary for the millions on the East Coast w/out power...
(Reuters) - East Coast electric companies report that outages from Hurricane Sandy have hit more than 8.2 million homes and businesses, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) said in a report early on Tuesday.
Halloween in Myrtle beach. Resting!
Been here in Florida for several years and a few Hurricanes I feel for those people up north with all that water and wind.
Everyone have a great week!!
Have a great week!
and this is still dumb...
Sitting on my laptop, with the generator humming in the background, and my cable back on line. Need I any more?
We got a lot of rain here the past few days.
Hope the area is recovered. Weather looks surprisingly good.
Prayers to all who were in the path of Sandy. I hope your losses are low, your recovery quick.
Take care of yourself, and please, take care of each other.
Caused a lot of problems and recovery will take a long time. One big item in need is gasoline for cars for people to get to work and gasoline for generators to power peoples homes. Gas stations are closed, out of gas or lines are a mile long.
Sure hope stations get their electricity back on and gas flows tomorrow.
God Bless All and Good luck.
I know many of us pray that a storm like Sandy doesn't hit us. But now its just as improtant to pray for the unfortunate people Sandy did impact.
This is a good morning to a new day and a new month.
Not many Halloween Trick or Treaters this year because of Sandy.
Our local Walmart sponsored a parade through their store. Associates were passing out candy and prizes.
