Garmin Retail Store in Chicago

I will be visiting the store Monday (12/11) and will report back here on my findings. Supposed to have fully working displays of all their products. It will be very difficult getting out of there without buying a new toy!

Garmin Retail Store

I finally made it to the store! Very spacious, 2 floors of live working displays... everything from hand-held GPS up to marine & aviation equipment, including radar! They installed antennas on the roof to make everything work. Even a motorcycle owned by Jay Leno with a Zumo 550 was displayed. The staff is very knowledgable and encourage current Garmin GPS owners to bring in their units for free software upgrades and usage lessons if needed. I will post some photos if possible when I hear from the blog administrator.

Michigan Ave. has

Michigan Ave. has everything. I will have to check out the store when I make it back there.

I just don't get how they can stay in business if they are selling everything at retail?
